Your own special Baby!

With over 3 million possible combinations, your virtual baby resembles no other, and as in real life, its traits are totally unique. No two players can have the same baby. Your baby's characteristics depend on the answers you give to a questionnaire at the beginning of the game. Similarly, your baby's personality will develop from one of three basic typologies according to the care you give. You will find out in the first eighteen months whether your child is a little angel or a little devil.

The birth of a beautiful relationship!

Like any new mother you have to help your baby grow and develop while you are having fun. With its real-time reactions, your baby will soon let you know if it is happy or not. Just like a real baby, your virtual baby laughs, cries and talks. Using your DS stylus, you can tickle it, play with it; dress it, cradle it and bathe it. You can watch it grow into a little person with its own language, character and features.

The language system is hugely entertaining. Talk to your little cherub and ask it questions using the special system of signs. Baby will reply using the same language. Of course, the answers will seem pretty vague at the beginning but, as time goes by, the replies will become increasingly clear.

As you progress through the game, more toys, clothes and accessories for taking care of your child become available. You can even swap them (and any photos you take) with friends using DS Wireless Communications.

To find the right environment for the development of your baby, Baby Life offers different worlds. If the weather is good, you might like to play ball outside. When it’s bath time, you’ll find the bathroom ready, so all you have to do is bath your little bundle of joy. When he’s hungry, take him to the kitchen where you’ll get a chance to see whether your child prefers to eat, or play with, his food. Each situation is crammed with fun so that the player really enjoys looking after baby. For those who like a challenge, Baby Life offers the chance for childminding at the kindergarten where you have to play baby-sitter to four adorable little cherubs and satisfy their every whim. With challenges humour, Baby Life teaches you how to take care of troublesome, attention-seeking kids. The Nintendo DS stylus interface makes the game accessible to all ages.
