Throughout the game, you are set missions that you have to pull off; for every life you save and every feat of bravery, you will get a chance to better equip your character and your vehicle, and access ever more dangerous missions (driving the fire engine, extinguishing fires, handling ladders, working with gas masks, breaking down doors and more).

My Hero Firefighter is the first game for Nintendo DS to give children the chance to play an intrinsically modern, yet timeless hero, the firefighter. The child learns to master fires, and respond to emergency calls while having bags of fun. After each mission, prevention advice appears telling the child how to react in the situations encountered throughout the game.
With its intuitive interface, based on the Nintendo DS stylus, the game is easy to pick up.
What makes the game’s firefighting world even more exciting are the intentionally realistic situations, 2D and 3D animation. However the game has cartoon-style graphics, and a lighter side to help the child think about danger without causing panic.
