Blizzcon 2010 – Goodie Bag & Signed Items

This year’s Blizzcon has come to an end, and as you may expect, rare collectibles are pouring into eBay! Some of these items could have be obtained by anyone who was there, so if you missed out on attending, you may very much want to grab these up. Some of the items I’ll be showing today however were not available to everyone and have amazing signatures on them.

First let’s take a look at the “goodie bag” which is full of great items the attendees were able to take home.

Inside you get various event schedules and maps so you could get around Blizzcon, Star Craft II Trial Edition, a Blizzcon Edition authenticator, a scratch card with redeem codes for a Murloc Marine portrait and a Deathly in-game pet to be used in World of Warcraft, and a Dethling Statue. Yeah, “Dethling” is the correct spelling… I guess Blizzard was going for a Megadeth reference? I dunno lol. The statue is actually a very high quality item to be included and I was surprised when I first saw it. This goodie bag is up for bids on eBay right now. Follow the link below to make your bid (no reserve!):

Next up is a signed Diablo II poster which has been framed for proper display.

This poster has been signed by the Diablo III development team! I’m a big fan of the Diablo series and very much want this on my wall when I finally install this future masterpiece onto my computer (fingers crossed). The really cool thing about this poster is that it was only given out to people who played the Diablo III demo and got a rare drop in the game! It’s rumored that there were only 50 of these posters available to be won and they were not all given out! Follow the link below to bid on this rare poster:

Next up is an item that was mentioned in the goodie bag above. The difference? This one has been signed by World of Warcraft developers…

The seller has also included a Blizzcon 2010 program guide which details the events and show times. Not many people thought of having this box signed when they were passing through the developers signing area because this is the only signed one I could find. A great idea has turned a collectible into a rare collectible! Check it out here on eBay.

The final item of the day is very interesting… This poster was only available to those who won matches at the Star Craft II King of the Hill challenge AND it has been signed by Husky and Artosis (SC2 commentators and pro gamers). It has also been signed by the GSL1 Grand Champion Fruit Dealer! (signed in the bottom right).

Fruit Dealer is a pro Star Craft player from Korea and has been dubbed the greatest Star Craft II player in the world! See the picture below to see the poster in frame with Fruit Dealer himself. I’ve circled Fruit Dealer for those who may not know what he looks like.

He made an appearance at Blizzcon to play an exhibition match against Slayers Boxer (another Star Craft legend). The poster can be found here on eBay!

Check out the video below for an intro before the match they played:

This game was a very big deal because these gamers take this very seriously. I wont go into too much detail on how serious pro gaming is in Korea, but believe me when I say that a gamer’s rep plays heavily on their gaming career… in the thousands of dollars… crazy stuff.

Let’s close today with the Star Craft II match that was played at Blizzcon! Ladies and gentlemen, Slayers Boxer VS Fruit Dealer part 1 and 2!
