VGA was recently contacted by an eBay seller who goes by the name dnchrist and he informed us that he was currently selling a Limited Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Gold version of the Gameboy Camera along with several other items. The Gold Gameboy Camera was a very limited release through Nintendo Power and it is rumored that there are only 2,000 in the world.
The gold camera comes with several Zelda themed images saved on the cartridge and the auction featuring this rare item also includes the printer which is the only way to print these images. The printer uses thermal paper, so there’s no need to worry about ink.
It’s also interesting to note that the Gameboy Camera was once known as the smallest digital camera in the world! You can find this great auction linked below.
There’s another Nintendo Power released Zelda item to mention today. This is the Legend of Zelda Power Bracelet.
If you’ve played more than a few Zelda games, you would know that the power bracelet allows Link to lift and move heavy objects. This bracelet was only available through Nintendo Power. As you can see, the clasp on this bracelet has been lost and replaced with a pin. The pin can of course be removed without further damage if you wish to make a different repair. The bracelet can be found with the following link.
Here’s an odd looking item…
For a time, Playstation memory cards were being released in many different colors and designs. I never quite understood why this went on, but the result is cards like this one floating around the world. This Lara Croft memory card has something else going for it however. They were numbered and there were 200,000 made. Not too rare, but a numbered item is always cool. If you want to get card #193,494 for yourself, check out the auction linked below.
The above mentioned items are just a few of the auctions eBay seller dnchrist has up right now. There are plenty more items of interest he is selling…
Thanks go to dnchrist for his feedback and support!
