Custom Made Triforce Ring, Bioshock Infinite Devil's Kiss Vigor Bottle and More!

Good morning VGA readers. I’m making a quick post with some auctions that are worth taking a look at. The custom Zelda Triforce ring is really cool, but unfortunately it’s unofficial. The Valkyrie Profile statue is just awesome and I can imagine how it looks up close. Enjoy the auctions and see you tomorrow.

  1. No offense, but if you’re on this site, you should be aware of the value of collectables…It’s simple economics and the limited nature and value of memorabilia of all types is nothing new or astonishing.
Did you know adjusting for inflation, mere perfumes from thousands of years ago were worth tens of thousands of dollars in today’s money? And blaming society for as a whole for collector’s? Blanket generalization much…

  2. i don’t care how limited something is. for a piece of plastic bottle that i can make at home $780 is really a stupid price to pay for something that will only lose value. check out the other bioshock ‘collectibles’ u mention about. they dont sell for much so why do you think a useless bottle would ‘retain’ its value in this economy? stupid price

  3. Actually, similar limited edition, resin cast bottles produced by Irrational sell for that much and more. I haven’t seen one go for less than $700 in recent memory–particularly the signed ones. It’s home made stuff that anybody can do that has no value, which is for obvious reasons. It lacks all of the characteristics of a valuable collectable. Considering that you’re on this site, it’s pretty ironic that you have trouble understanding this…

And, like I said, which you overlooked, it’s simple economics.

And, you might not agree with the price or the value of any memorabilia. And, THAT’S FINE. The problem is you’re extrapolating your personal feelings and judging others and commenting on society generally–which is just ignorance. Feel free to share your opinion, but there is no reason to throw in negative commentary.

  4. I sold a Murder of Crows bottle (the officially licensed, 100% legit bottle) for $1,000 last year.
I paid nearly half that much for it originally. So yeah, it appreciated pretty well! I’m sure that it will hold it’s value too. Tons of people want them, not many people have them.

  5. Sorry Forzani, but Robin has a point. If you’re on this site you know why it’s that expensive. As well I absolutely understand both sides of the argument. But what Forzani fails to see it that the bottle targets a “niche”. It’s not for the masses/general public. I wouldn’t pay $10,000 for a Babe Ruth signed baseball, but to the right person they would pay that. I would pay really high for a FF VII Music box, the next person wouldn’t. It all depends what you hold as value. Do you take that $780 for the bottle and use it for a vacation or a trip? Some people would do that, others would say it’s wasting money on a trip when you can buy something that stays with you. It’s really a subjective matter.

  6. I’m a little late on this one but I do find it strange that such a comment would be made on a video game collectible site. It’s as if I went to a stamp collecting site and made a comment saying there’s no value in a stamp that just sold for $1000. Quite odd, but I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Do you even collect any video game items Forzani?
