Apex Legends gamers are anxiously awaiting the release of Apex Season 1 Battle Pass which will bring in new guns, loot, skins, and the most anticipated new legends for Ps4, PC, and Xbox One.
Season 1 Apex Legends
The game reached over 50 million players early in March 2019 marking it as a successful title that even Respawn Entertainment likely did not anticipate. With so many gamers, lots of feedback, and a strong community, it’s given Respawn Entertainment longer reviews at what’s being released, and when it’s being released.
Leak sources have said the release date for the Battle Pass was March 12th, but that date has passed which sparks more reason that Respawn Entertainment is going through a lot of tweaks, edits, and consideration on when they release the battle Pass.
When will Apex Legends Season 1 Battle Pass Be Released?
As of now, there are no dates mentioned, no leaks whispered, but only guesses. Will it be released during the week, or will it be just before a weekend. With all the buzz on Apex Legends revolving around the release date, it is likely that it will be very soon. Questions to CEO Vince Zampella on March 3rd was asked about the release date, and his response was that Respawn Entertainment is working really hard, and that it hasn’t even been 4 weeks since the games been released.
When it’s released, will a tweet go out, will we only know when there needs to be an update for Apex Legends with a large GB download required? A tweet from CEO Vince Zampella did confirm that Respawn Entertainment does have an official date set in place, but when is the question.
Updates to Existing Characters?
Since there’s already been a balance update for Apex Legends guns Wingman and Peacekeeper, Respawn Entertainments subreddit post confirms there will be legend character adjustments at the start of Season 1. Read more details about the balance updates and season 1 apex legends character adjustments here. The legends who will have the adjustments are:

Insider Knowledge – Increased the number of beacons in the world to 12 from 10
Care Package – Removed slight chance that level 4 armor and helmets will drop
Into The Void – Cooldown increased from 20 -> 25 seconds
Double Time – Reduced move speed bonus to 30% from 40%

How Many Apex Legends Seasons Will There Be And What Will Be Added?
An early road map concept has shown that there will be 4 seasons releasing quarterly starting in March. Each season introducing new legends, weapons and loot. With the current dynamics of the game, it will be interesting to see if they introduce vehicles, or possibly different game modes such as king of the hill, solo squads or duo squads.
New Locations On Apex Legends Kings Canyon Map?
With many more seasons to come for Apex Legends, there could possibly be new locations on Kings Canyon or map changes. If you’ve ever started the game and the dropship followed the path from Artillery, you’ll notice if you look behind that there is enough real estate to extend that area and create a new location.
There’s also plenty of room to extend outside of the current map as either a direct extension, islands with transports or fast tubes. The concept of a carrier ship or battle ship is also possible given the map layout but the programmers/designers at Respawn Entertainment have a lot on their hands already.
Apex Legends New Guns In Season 1
The Havoc was introduced with Respawn Entertainments last game update. The update came around 2-3 weeks after Apex Legends was released. So will there be more guns in season 1? A few leak sources have shown that the L-STAR LMG will be the new gun. It will mark a new addition to the light machine gun class sharing spots with the Spitfire and Devotion. Will it take heavy ammo or like R-301 in the assault rifle class in that it takes light ammo.
