Apex Legends Season 3: Meltdown. Everything You Need To Know
With Season 2 wrapping up, there are still many questions that were not answered. Who was the unknown figure at the beginning of Season 2 responsible for the Kings Canyon outage that allowed the Flyers and Leviathans to roam the island? Perhaps we have a better understanding now of what happened since the first spotting of Crypto, a new Apex Legends “Legend”. Players saw an unknown character in a computer lab; what looked to be a person hacking the system. As he was spotted, the unknown character runs off into the corridor.
Season 3 Meltdown Details
In the new Apex Legends Season 3, players will be introduced to:
- A new Legend named Crypto
- All-new Battle Pass

Although EA hasn’t given much more details about the points above, we know that the new Legend, CRYPTO, specializes covert ops. CRYPTO deploys a surveillance drone to help him stay out of the spotlight, which gives him the advantage to see enemies first. The official Apex Legends YouTube has also posted his story, titled “Forever Family“.
Lastly, Ranked Series 2 will kick off October 1st, which includes an Apex Predator Ladder position, new rewards, and scoring system. The new Series 2 Ranked matches will have the entry RP costs as follows:
