The IGL of Fnatic, JW, talked about flusha’s potential return to CS:GO. During his last stream, JW said that he is pretty sure flusha is coming back very soon. According to his words, flusha will be ready for the Major.
Flusha’s absence from the competitive scene
Robin “flusha” Rönnquist has been playing CS:GO since the very beginning. At the beginning of his career, he played for teams such as SY b and Western Wolves. He kicked off 2013 in the jersey of Epsilon Esports and six months later, flusha joined Fnatic together with his teammates from Epsilon.

Since then, he recorded countless great results as he won three Major titles and more than 20 other LAN events. He was the second best player of 2014 and MVP of Major in Cologne 2015. Flusha also was the most valuable player of IEM Katowice 2018, which makes him one of the rare “old guard” players who has been performing at a high level in the recent period. However, after FACEIT Major last year, Fnatic decided to bench flusha who joined Cloud9 later on. But, his chapter in Cloud9 was pretty short as he parted ways with NA organization in March this year.
Since then, the CS:GO legend and one of 20 highest-earning players hasn’t played a single official match. On top of that, he wasn’t even streaming at all on his Twitch channel. Hence, many people started thinking that flusha perhaps retired from CS:GO, even though he is only 25. But, according to words of flusha’s former teammate, JW, all these rumors are false.
Flusha is coming back soon
During JW’s last stream, JW said a few words about flusha’s return to CS:GO. He said that he is pretty sure flusha is coming back soon, and it’s most likely going to happen at Major. Considering that JW and flusha used to be teammates, we can take this as a reliable source. Also, it’s not so likely that one of the best players of all time is going to retire so early.
