The first auction listed today was made for the badass Famicom gamers in Japan back in the 80’s. It reminds me of the days when hearing that someone owned over 20 NES games would just blow your mind and make you want to invite them over to your house even if you really didn’t like the person.
Famicom Game Briefcase – Pretty awesome case and it looks like it’s in great shape. The key isn’t included unfortunately but I doubt each key was made unique. Can carry 18 Famicom games in style!
Spartan Total Warrior Limited Helmet – This very limited promo for the nearly forgotten title Spartan Total Warrior is a full sized metal helmet. It was limited to 60 and, according to the seller, given to select members of the press. This auction is for #58 of the 60 made.
Zelda II The Adventure of Link Display – There’s a bit of expected damage at the bottom corners. First bid has already been made.
Sly 2 Press Kit – Here’s an auction that ends today (and soon). Nothing really special included in this press kit but it’s from a point in time when the popularity of the Sly series hadn’t really taken off much yet.
Mother 2 Dosei-San (Mr Saturn) Stickers – From a short promotion in Japan, these stickers were never for sale. The set on auction here is still sealed in the plastic.
Mother 3+ Piano Notes Book – Another sealed Mother item from Japan! It’s a collection of music notes from Mother 3 which is cool because beat and music notes were a memorable part of the gameplay.
Castlevania Pixel Figure – Limited item from Neca which was available at SDCC 2007. The seller says there were 1000 of these.
GamePro Limited Figures Sealed Set of 4 – Each figure was limited to 2500 each which makes having a set of 4 different figures pretty cool. First bid is $0.99 with no reserve.
The last few auctions for today are for pins from Club Nintendo Japan. They are all similar but the ravenous Nintendo collectors out there must have them all…
