It looks like Carlos Santana of the Cleveland Indians isn’t a big fan of Fortnite. He hates the game so much he smashed a TV with a bat to stop people from playing it.
Carlos Santana Professional Baseball Player
Those who follow the MLB knows who Carlos Santana is. He currently plays for the Cleveland Indians and plays first bas. He’s also known to be an excellent defender. Coming from Dominican Republic, he made his way up to the MLB, signing with the Cleveland Indians in 2010 before changing teams over the years. He’s been in the league for roughly nine years and one of the last teams he’s played for were the Philadelphia Phillies. This is the time that people quickly found out that he doesn’t like losing, and if it means smashing a few TV’s, Carlos Santana will do just that.

Carlos Santana Hates Fortnite. Smashes TV with Bat.
During the 2018 season, the Phillies weren’t doing very good. The team lost their 9th consecutive game nearing the end of September 2018 and that’s when Carlos decided to take action into his own hands. During the game against the Atlanta Braves, Carlos saw his teammates were playing Fortnite Battle Royale during the game in the clubhouse. In a desperate time, when the Phillies had all the pressure on them to win a game, it seems that some players weren’t taking the situation seriously. Carlos told ESPN,
“I see a couple players, I don’t want to say names. They play video games during the game. We come and lose too many games, and I feel like they weren’t worried about it. Weren’t respecting their teammates or coaches or the staff or the front office. It’s not my personality. But I’m angry because I want to make it good”.
Carlos Fortnite Smash
His teammates who were playing Fortnite weren’t taking the game seriously. So, Carlos took business into his own hands and went and got his baseball bat. That’s when he headed towards the clubhouse where his teammates were playing Fortnite, and smashed the TV so that they can stop playing the video game. Carlos wanted to make sure that his teammates wouldn’t be able to play Fortnite for the remainder of the season.
How is that for dedication?
