- Epic Games have many changes coming our way, and one of them is adding bots to the game which is supposed to help players improve their skill level. Find out more below.
Epic Games is Adding Bots To Fortnite
Fortnite will be adding bots into the game. This will be an interesting change to the Casual playlist. Fortnite developers Epic Games announced that with the start of Season 11 the game will feature bots. According to Epic Games, these bots are going to behave similarly to normal players and will provide a better path for players to grow in skill. Of course, these bots are going to change a lot in the game.
But we have to remember games with bots such as Realm Royale has massive problems.
One interesting feature will be when players get eliminated by a bot, the players will not be able to spectate the bot and will spectate a random player instead. So if you are eliminated by a bot you will not be able to spectate them thus you will know that you are playing against a bot.
Interestingly several players reported that the bots were featured in the game before this announcement. However, Fortnite developers did not mention this prior to Season 11. This may have something to do with the decreasing popularity of Fortnite and the queue times might be getting longer. In June Fortnite was able to announce only a 2% increase in the revenue and this is creating a problem for the game.
We have a lot to share!

Players will not be able to queue with bots as well. These bots will be subject to some rules according to developers AI players will not be able to use vehicles and they will not be able to do use extensive building techniques. Of course in the future, we might be able to see some changes to these.
Also, the bots will not be available in creative mode. However, we are sure that the bots might come to the creative mode in the future. It will give players a chance to improve their game skills. But of course human behavior is different than bots, but having an actual target that you can use anytime might improve a player’s skill.
