Fortnite is known for subjective additions to the game, especially with weapons, it appears that we might have a new silent killer in the near future.
In recent news, Fortnite might be getting a new weapon addition to it’s sniper family. Epic Games is constantly updating the game and trying to keep the fans of the game interested. New weapons come and go on a regular basis.
Something different from other shooter games is, Fornite weapons do not require attachments. Players never need to look for a certain attachment like scopes or muzzle attachments. When Epic Games introduces a new weapon, that weapon is rarely replicated. It usually gets vaulted based on usage, except for the drum gun that was clearly OP.
Data miners found out that there are Suppressed Sniper Rifle files added to it’s files. This will be the 5th variant of the Sniper Rifles.

Design Overview
The Suppressed Sniper Rifle variant will probably mean less body damage, however we do not believe that it will require two headshots. The weapon appears to look semi auto and is probably a bull-pup variant because the 3D model does have a magazine. It does resemble the Bolt Action Sniper Rifle however it looks slimmer. The 3D model does look like it may be coming with a wrap however it is uncertain and I personally expect a different type of scope. The Suppressed Sniper Rifle might also mean that the bullet drop might be more considerable; because the muzzle velocity is slower due to the suppressor.
It took a very long time for the Semi Auto snipe to finally get vaulted. At that point we had 3 sniper types in the BR game mode. It makes sense to bring back a third type of sniper and a suppressed model makes perfect sense.
