The Unvaulting event for Fortnite Battle Royale has just ended. Here is everything that happened.
Fortnite Tilted Towers Destroyed
Fortnite Battle Royale is known for its live events. These live events included many different themes such as a live concert by Marshmello or Ice monsters attack etc. However, how did Fortnite last this long with only one map? It is very simple, map changes. Fortnite Battle Royale has the most dynamic map ever created by a gaming company. Every month there is a difference, even if it is a small difference. Fortnite Battle Royale’s first map was quite simple and plain, however, we now have a volcano, a desert, and a snow biome. Let us take a look at the map changes.
Fortnite Season 8 “The Unvaulting” event took place today. First players asked to vote on which weapon they wanted to see unvaulted. Afterwards, players were taken to the map, in which many players saw a surprising event unfold. The Volcano erupted several balls of fire, which all landed right on to Tilted Towers. Tilted Towers along with a small portion of Retail Row were getting destroyed by the balls of fire. Until today, Season 8 map saw many changes like the digging sites for example.
Several popular streamers watched the event live. Here’s Ninja’s perspective.
TILTED AND RETAIL?

As you can see there were a couple of big explosions. Tilted was one of the most landed places in the game. However, it created a little bit of an imbalance because players would not spread out to the map, but nearly 1/3 of them would land to Tilted Towers. There were several reasons behind this such as loot and fun of fighting. But Tilted Towers is destroyed, and we hope this will create a more even map spread among the players. Lastly, Fortnite players voted, and the Drum Gun was unvaulted.
