Fortnite's New Physics Engine Might Change The Whole Game

Fortnite is one of the most popular games on the market right now and has been since 2017. Although it’s one of the most popular games, the game is unpopular with its graphics. The game has more of a cartoonish graphic set. In comparison, PUBG or other shooters are much more realistic. However, they also have their problems. Those games look better maybe to some, but they have many optimization problems as well. These issues create lag, FPS drops, and so forth. Fortnite has been on Unreal Engine 4 for some time. This engine is developed by Epic Games. Epic Games used to be known for their game engines before their success with Fortnite. But Epic Games decided to change Fortnite Physics Engine after 2 and a half years. This update will come to Unreal Engine 4 and it will be implemented to Fortnite. Here’s what to expect from the graphics update:

The game will not look very different. However, the objects and interactions with these objects will feel much more realistic. This is an improvement in some ways, but it will also affect player gameplay. After 2 years players are already familiar with the gameplay. We all know what happens when you are shooting a wall for example. However, with the new engine, this will change. Essentially with Fortnite’s New Physics Engine the game will get a soft reboot. This will change and affect the esports scene also since some players will perform better with this engine. Let us check what Epic Games stated in their announcement.

Beginning with the release of the 11.50 update in early February, Fortnite will be moving to Unreal Engine’s Chaos physics system. At launch, the goal is to ensure that Fortnite still feels like Fortnite. Along the way there will be some bumps, so we’re starting tests with a small group of players. We’ll also closely monitor feedback and make improvements over time. With the addition of the 11.50 update, Chapter 2 – Season 2 is now expected to launch Thursday, February 20. Chapter 2 – Season 2 will feature with multiple . There is also the casual players. We are not sure if this engine will change the system requirements for the game. However, it does look like it will affect. The destruction scenes are very realistic and will probably need a good GPU to cope with it. The new Fortnite Physics Engine  Chaos will come with Fortnite Season 2. Fortnite Season 2 is expected to start on February 20, 2020. Chapter 2 Season 1 was a revival for the game. Fortnite is making the right steps in the marketing department. But can we say the same for gaming? Lately, they have been shaky with their decisions. We will how the New Fortnite Engine will play out.
