Epic Games is going after Fortnite leakers who have social media channels that display leaked information to the public; Fortnite Battle Royale Leaks and FortTroy.
Fortnite leakers made the news today. It was revealed that leakers of Fortnite Battle Royale are being hunted down. Apparently, Epic Games does not want any more leaks from their development and taking serious precautions against those who leak their upcoming content. Epic Games might prosecute these data miners by stating that they are breaching their Terms and Conditions and their Copyright. Furthermore, these leaks are coming from their downloaded files. It is unknown how they will prevent these leaks in the first place?
Fortnite data miner FortTory said that;
‘‘Guys the time has come Epic Games is coming for the leakers on twitter. I won’t leak until I know more”.
FortTory also said that he was not contacted yet by the Epic games but it is only a matter of time. He, for now, will change his Twitter account to FortTory-Fortnite News. He also stated that only news no leaks anymore.
Like nearly every game on the market, Fortnite is also basically a program and data miners can find the differences added to the files with the upcoming updates. These leaks can start with skins and go as far as new guns and map changes. It is not a very hard thing to do. However, it is also a breach of Copyright.
Fortnite: Battle Royale Leaks were one of those social media outlets that would tweet upcoming info in regards to Fortnite… until of course, they were contacted by the creator of Fortnite, Epic Games. Here’s the series of tweets below:
In one of @FNBRLeaks tweets, he shares a URL which points to TwitLonger which basically states:
“Deleting my Twitter at the Request of Epic Games.
I am not going to go into specifics with this, but. Due to the request of an Epic Games Attorney who i’m not going to disclose, my Twitter, Discord, YouTube, Instagram, and GitHub must be deleted, or else they will take action. Thank you all for the support and followers over my 7 month span of the FNBRLeaks twitter. Sadly, everything comes to an end.
Preston aka FNBRLeaks.”

Last night a very well known Fortnite leaker on Twitter ”FNBRLeaks” closed down due to apparently Epic Games threatened him with taking legal actions against him and his business. Many people are wondering what might come next.
Epic Games might try to hide every detail of their game. However, there will be leaks even though they try to keep them safe. It is nearly impossible to hide the data away; for a game that is hugely popular. Also, in my opinion, people want more leaks and discussions about what might come next. Remember folks these leaks do not have an exact date. They can be put into the game the next day or the next year. In some cases, they never get introduced to the game itself. This is not a very bad advertisement also. Everywhere because of these leaks there are news and Fortnite name is nearly everywhere. People talk and talk about these and play Fortnite a little bit more. We will surely see what happens in the future.
Stay tuned for the upcoming Fortnite news.
