Ninja and PewDiePie Teams Up for Friday Fortnite

Two of the biggest names in the streaming world are pairing up. Ninja and PewDiePie will be teaming up for the Friday Fortnite event.

Friday Fortnite

The popular Friday Fortnite tournament is back, and this time we have an amazing duo at our hands; Ninja and PewDiePie. Of course, this was unexpected because we haven’t seen PewDiePie play Fortnite much. PewDiePie will be playing with Ninja, arguably one of the best Fortnite players in the world tomorrow. We have seen PewDiePie play Fortnite before when he was on the race with T-Series to be the first to 100 million subscribers on YouTube (more below). The announcement of the duo was made by KEEMSTAR from his Twitter.

Friday Fortnite came back, ironically, because of the Tfue vs FaZe Clan lawsuit. In short, FaZe Clan said they only collected $60,000 from Tfue since he joined the esports organization. That’s when KEEMSTAR, a YouTube personality, tweeted to one of the owners of the team, FaZe Banks, “All joking aside if @FaZeClan donates the $60k they made from Tfue. I’ll do 3 weeks of #FridayFortnite.” FaZe Banks replied saying, “You have a idea. FaZe Clan will sponsor the event for $60,000 so we can officially be at $0 total money earned from Tfue. I don’t want his money, never fucking did. This isn’t a joke, run it.

PewDiePie Vs T Series

PewDiePie is the biggest streamers in the world, having close to 100 million subscribers on YouTube. There was a point where PewDiePie was racing against T Series, a music record label and film production company in India, to be the first to get to 100 million. However, T Series beat him to the punch and gained it’s 100th million subscriber on the 23rd of May. Nonetheless, PewDiePie will hit his 100th million subscriber this year, and playing duos with Ninja tomorrow will definitely help his cause. But the fact that he’s hardly played Fortnite on his YouTube channel will beg the question if he will be able to compete at a high level. We’ll have to find out tomorrow.
