Fortnite Battle Royale isn’t sitting well at Buckingham Palace. Prince Harry said Fortnite shouldn’t be allowed in the UK. What does this mean for the game?
Prince Harry Hates Fortnite? “Shouldn’t Be Allowed” in the UK
What does Drake, Finn Wolfhard, Travis Scott, Lil Yachty and Norm McDonald have in common? They all like to play Fornite. However, despite how many celebrities like to play the game, it seems that Fortnite is getting no love from Buckingham Palace. Price Harry has recently stated that Fortnite “Shouldn’t be allowed” in the UK. He said it’s
“more addictive than drugs and alcohol”
While Price Harry was visiting the YMCA in West London, he said all of this to the BBC. But what would spark such a controversial statement from Prince Harry?
Prince Harry Hates Video Games?
Just because Prince Harry wants to ban Fortnite in the UK doesn’t mean he hates video games. Surely he has played video games in his past. Back in 2013 on his mission in Afghanistan, he told Metro news that he loves playing PlayStation and Xbox. He jokingly said that he isn’t on the front lines, but he’s able to do a lot with his thumbs. “You can ask the guys, I thrash them at Fifa the whole time” he told Metro news. So clearly Prince Harry likes playing video games, specifically Fifa games.
However, that doesn’t mean he likes all video games, and Fortnite is one of those games. Perhaps it’s due to the addictive nature of Fortnite, and that 200 million gamers have played the game, making it one of the most popular games of all time. That’s a lot gamers staying indoors and not going outside to play, since Prince Harry made this comment at the YMCA.
