Tfue Experiences Dreadful Black Screen Bug In Fortnite

Popular Fortnite streamer Tfue experiences the dreadful black screen bug in Fortnite during the match.

Bugs and Glitches

Although Fortnite Battle Royale is one of the most successful video games in recent time, it has its fair share of bugs and glitches. Of course, developers are trying their best to fix them. These problems are much more frustrating in a multiplayer game. Imagine getting a BSOD in the middle of a CS game when you were about to win. Or connection lost in the middle of a defuse in Rainbow Six Siege. These problems do happen.

However, when you are playing Fortnite it is a little bit more intense. There are 100 players in every match, and if you are a building when it happens in the middle of a fight, you are dead. This is exactly what happened to tfue today. He was in a match with Corinna Kopf and they were in the middle of a fight, and right at that second something happened to the screen and everything went pitch black. Here’s the video:

As you can see it was like a second of black screen and he eventually dies. It could be from his connection to the monitor. We do know that he has 0 ping since he moved in with his teammate, Cloakzy, in Jersey.

However, if it is not related to tfue’s setup, Epic Games should look into this. These type of problems cannot be ignored and especially with the upcoming Fortnite World Cup. The most interesting thing is actually these type of problems started to happen more with the servers recently. Several players stated that the servers are in such a bad condition, however, there hasn’t been mentioned from Epic Games to optimize their servers.
