G2 Esports Becomes the First Team in History to go 12-0 on the Main Stage
Something special happened at the R6 Pro League Finals. G2 Esports became the first team in history to go 12-0 on the main stage. With the fierce competition at the Rainbow 6 Pro League, going unbeaten is something that doesn’t cross the minds of the teams involved. But alas, history was made with the help of Juhani “Kantoraketti” Toivonen, a new acquisition of G2 Esports.
New Member to the G2 Esports Squad
Juhani is a Finnish Rainbow Six Siege player that joined G2 Esports back on August 10th, a move by the G2 Squad that has proved to be huge as Juhani “Kantoraketti” Toivonen has been integral to G2’s RB6 team.
I'm so honored to be part of the G2 family! This is a dream come true and i'm so thankful for G2 to make this happen in just a short time table and letting us represent them in time for the Paris Major! #G2ARMY #G2WIN https://t.co/74evem9S6y

Kantoraketti has been playing on the pro circuit since 2017, playing for esports teams “GiFu”, ENCE and PENTA before joining @G2esports, a big move in his career. To date, his total earnings is around $78,642 and that number will go up with his joining of G2.
In the semi finales @G2esports was playing Fnatic, and although some viewers were saying that Fnatic didn’t have a chance against G2, the final round had @G2esports down 4-2 with @G2Kantoraketti pulling out some magic from his hat to take out 3 Fnatic players lifting them to the finals.
Here’s the clip of the sweet shot @G2Kantoraketti had on kill 3:
We’re looking forward to see more magic from G2 Esports Kantoraketti in future matches.
