Gamer Shirts, Nintendo Sign, Game Lots, Sonic Watch, and Japanese Toys

By the time my collection of auctions to post today were lined up, I was surprised to see how many were actually shirts and jackets. I wasn’t aiming for it, but it just came together that way. I like game related clothing because if someone decides to wear it, they are telling the world how much they are into video games. So, I’ll start with those and you can find some other cool stuff at the end! Enjoy

Vintage Space Invaders T-Shirt – Shirts like this can be made new and faked as vintage, but the tag on this one shows it’s age.

Minecraft University Hoodie – From what I have seen, %80 of the people in the world who play Minecraft have become devoted fans. I haven’t played it yet myself but it looks like something I could get into. A very cool hoodie for the fans

Illusion of Gaia T-Shirt – When this game was new, all the serious RPG players I knew had played it. Somehow, these days, many people have somehow forgotten about this title. I give this auction a thumbs-up for keep the memory alive.

Team 3DO Denim Shirt – This is a shirt, as the seller explains, that was given to a 3DO employee to wear at CES in the early 90’s.

Mario and Bowser Pull Back Toys – Remember these kinds of toys? Do they even make them anymore? This is a cool pair because you can pull them back face to face and see if Mario can knock over Bowser! But wait… what’s with the price!? Another problem is the seller is Japanese so asking for a lower price will be tough unless you speak Japanese yourself.

Sonic the Hedgehog Swatch Watch – The transparent design made into this watch is very cool. If I saw this on it’s own and someone said, “Guess what game this was made for”, I would instantly answer “Sonic”. It’s the colours of course, but also the look.

Nintendo Super Mario 2 Sign – In top shape, this Nintendo sign really stands out. It’s double sided too.

Intellivision Console with Games Lot – Considering what you get, the price here isn’t bad. Still, make an offer and see what happens. Other people are already trying.

Lot of 15 Xbox Games – Huh? Ordinary Xbox games? Well, I just found the price to be good for someone building an Xbox library.

  1. The Mario and Bowser pullbacks are actually quite rare in Japan. They are from the second game from Bandai. The may have actually been released between the first and second game. Quite rare with the boxes and instructions/set sheet. While that set sheet looks like there is a Fire Mario and Luigi in the set, a second volume was never released. They could have been optional paint variation suggestions for the end consumer, as that was a big deal back then in Japan.
