BlizzCon 2019 is gonna be great. This is their shot at redemption after the controversies that surrounded them throughout this year.
It’s that time of the year again when Blizzard hosts its biggest event of the year. BlizzCon is an event for which players wait a whole year for. This time, even more so because of all the events that have occurred. This year failure is not an option for Blizzard. BlizzCon 2019 is expected to be a polished and well-managed event. I say so because last year was a huge letdown. Blizzard made fun of itself by presenting distasteful and uncreative ideas. Diablo mobile was converted into a meme, and people straight up made fun of the announcers at the main stage.
Adding to the previous year’s fail a lot of controversies have surrounded Blizzard in 2019. The whole phase after the ban placed on Blitzchung was a total nightmare for Blizzard. A lot of negative publicity surrounded Blizzard after the event. This year’s BlizzCon might just be a great event for new games after a long time. Blizzard is rumored to announce a story-based Overwatch campaign, Diablo 4, a new expansion to World of Warcraft, and much more.
Here’s everything you need to know about BlizzCon 2019:

BlizzCon 2019 in a nutshell
According to reports, Blizzard is pretty confident about them winning back their fans after a year of negative publicity, controversies, and the biggest disappointment BlizzCon 2018. This year hopefully, they will bring out the big guns, Diablo 4, Overwatch 2, good Hearthstone, and World of Warcraft reveals.
The biggest fear at this point for Blizzard should be the probable protests that would be invoked in support of Blitzchung. The whole ban and Hong Kong situation has brought a gaming company into a moral inconsistency. Blizzard should be expecting such behavior from the audience so I hope they have plans in place to take control of aggravating situations. Players lately have been not at all happy with the practices of the company. Some have gone to the extent of quitting Blizzard games all together. I don’t know whether the footfall will be the same as all other BlizzCon’s in the past.
Hence, making this event a very crucial point for Blizzard. A virtual ticket is a good option; there are pretty sweet looking skins for Genji and Symmetra relating to the 25 years completion of Azeroth. A variety of tournaments will be conducted, including the Overwatch World Cup, which sees a lot of new countries participating. It’s great to see the gaming community expand and grow rapidly.
Get yourself a physical ticket and head to Anaheim Convention Center if you are in the place and witness the magnificence first hand. If you cannot make it, then get the virtual ticket and still take part actively.
