For those of you who recently purchased the Ledger Nano S will be quickly disappointed that the parallel application doesn’t work. But I will explain the Ledger Manager Fix in a few moments.
When you setup your Ledger Nano S, you’re given clear instructions via ledgerwallat.com website.
At one point, you’re instructed to download the Ledger Manager. It’s basically a deskptop application / mobile app that communications with your hardware (Ledger Nano S).
With the Ledger Manager, you’re able to update your firmware, add or remove different types of cyrptocurrency.
Problem with Ledger Manager
There’s a major glitch with the Ledger software. Almost every new Ledger Nano S owner quickly finds out that they are unable to add or remove different crypto on the hardware using the Ledger Manager.
If you happen to use the desktop version of the Ledger Manager, you’ll need to install it as an app on your Chrome Browser.T

Ledger Manager Fix
The issue with the Ledger Manager communicating with your Ledger Nano S is that there’s a disruption in the connection. Through the process of elimination, we were able to find out the culprit of this major issue.
Follow these steps below:
Go to the Chrome Settings.
Go to “More Tools” and then click on “Extensions”.
The final step here is to deactivate all your extensions EXCEPT the Ledger Wallet app.
After closing the apps page you can reconnect your Ledger Nano S with the Ledger Manager opened and flawlessly remove or add new cryptocurrencies. If it doesn’t work right away, follow the standard procedure of restarting your computer so everything propagates.
