Legend of Zelda Cup,Zelda Japanese Board Game,25th Anniversary OOT Magazine

It’s been a while since we’ve done a post only on the Legend of Zelda, and now with the upcoming release of Ocarina of Time 3DS and Skyward Sword there should be plenty of great collector items on the market. So I did a quick search around town and found some neat items!

First item is for a Legend of Zelda board Game from Japan. This is based off of the first Zelda game like the US board game version, but if you compare both versions they are completely different. I wonder if there’s any significant difference in the rules for the Japanese version. It’s looks vintage and you can see the 80’s charm in the pictures. It is quite rare as the board game doesn’t appear on eBay a lot, but it is quite pricey at $499. There’s already one offer on the table. If you’re into LOZ collectibles from Japan take a look.

Other Legend of Zelda Auctions:

Nintendo 1989 LEGEND OF ZELDA Cup Peter Pan – This is the missing link to that dinnerware set which consists of the plate, cup, and bowl. The seller reduced the price to $49 which isn’t bad! Check out the auction.
The Legend of Zelda Four Swords promo sword paperweight – Seller random185 keeps listing great collectibles such as this Four Swords Promo paper weight. Seller says, “This auction is for the Legend of Zelda Four Swords letter opener and paperweight with Nintendo letter as seen in the pictures. No game is included in this auction. This letter opener has the original bag but the bag has been opened. The paperweight has all 4 rubber stoppers on the bottom. The Nintendo letter is rarely seen when these are offered and is also included”.
The Legend of Zelda – Framed 4-Piece Collection – there was some talk about whether this is authentic or not but the frame is indeed authentic. You have artwork from Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass.
The Legend of Zelda Maps and Strategies – Here is a nice vintage Zelda map that came with the original game. The map has never been opened.
Legend of Zelda LINK Cartoon Creator – this is quite neat especially since it’s an official Zelda item. There’s a small booklet to draw link and bring him to life!
Furuta Spirit Tracks Legend Of Zelda Figure – chase figure from the set and another “missing link” item for many collectors.
German Ocarina of Time 3D Case – this is one of3 the items made for the release of the game. It’s a nice case for your DS! The bid’s at 1 Euro so far!
Retro Gamer Zelda 25th Anniversary Collectors Edition – one of the nicest magazines to come out for the 25th Anniversary of the game. It’s issue 90 from Retro Gamer. The cover of the magazine has a nice golden metallic look which is really cool. Seller says, “This issue is a limited edition collectors item celebrating the 25th anniversary of the famed series Legend of Zelda. This issue features articles celebrating the whole series, including a very in-depth look at the incredible Nintendo 64 original Ocarina of Time. Just in time for the 3DS release!”

Also on eBay are a bunch of awesome Skyward Sword posters that were given out at E3. By the look of things it seems like there’s 6 variants to the poster, two from 2010, and 4 from this year. Click here for the 2011 Posters.
Good luck!
