PUBG is still one of the biggest games in the market. The game lost a lot of players to different games, however, maybe the killing blow came from the Call of Duty Warzone. Warzone offered PUBG players something better and cheaper, as it was free-to-play. The PS and Xbox ports have the same issue. However, one port was able to survive and it’s going great, PUBG Mobile is shining more brightly than the other games in the market. The game has a lot of users and especially in the countries where mobile gaming is popular it is played nearly by everyone.

PUBG Mobile World League Season Zero is announced the prize pool will be a record for an online game with $850,000. 40 teams will compete in the tournament and the teams will be divided into 2 groups. The groups will be called East and West. PUBG Mobile World League Season Zero will begin on July 10, and it will last until August 9. The tournament will be played online because of the Coronavirus pandemic around the world. We are expecting some smaller groups with home and away games in the tournament as well.
The reason for Season Zero because it will be an online tournament. It is a shame really since PUBG Mobile Studio in Katowice, Poland was built exactly for these tournaments. The construction is mostly done as well. Currently, 29 teams already qualified for the PUBG Mobile World League Season Zero. The remaining 11 teams will be selected from the qualifiers. Tencent set aside $5 million dollars for future tournaments. There are already preparations for another PUBG Mobile World Championship tournament as well.
