- Popular dating application Tinder partnered with esports organization paiN Gaming.
Brazilian organization paiN Gaming partnered with popular dating application Tinder. Tinder will sponsor paiN Gaming teams in Counter-Strike Global Offensive, Dota 2, Freefire and Clash Royale. Currently, there are no details about the partnership deal. However, it is rumored that with this partnership app users will be able to earn Tinder Premium codes. These codes allow them to access certain features in the application. Tinder will also make a jersey application with paiN Gaming. Tinder will be entering its second partnership in the esports arena. The first one happened in 2018, and Tinder once again partnered with Brazilianorganization MIBR.
That partnership also gave premium services for the users, and live activations. This will be an interesting partnership because Tinder is a global app with millions of users. On the other hand, we do not know these features will be available only to Brazilian users.
Over the past few years, paiN Gaming partnered with huge companies such as BMW, Coca-Cola, and Razer. Tinder will join this list of impressive sponsorships. This also marks another strength of esports, these companies are global companies after all and it marks how important esports became as a marketing industry as well.
When we taking a look in the past there was one more partnership similar to Tinder. Last year another dating application Bumble secured a partnership with Gen.G. That partnership was for an all-female Fortnite team. Bumble’s partnership was on a bigger scale than Tinder’s first partnership with MIBR. When we are taking a look over the last few years, there have been many changes in the industry new Dreamhack is even partnering with United States Navy. These partnerships are propelling esports to another level and they are very important for the future of it.
