The Peacekeeper Pal9000 model shows a binary code displayed across the side of it, here is what it translates to.
If there is one thing that Respawn Entertainment nailed Apex Legends with, its details. The dog portrait and Nessie easter egg were probably the most popular discoveries, but other small details continue to emerge. As players continue to pay close attention to the smallest details, cool findings continue to emerge.
Pal9000 Binary Code
The Pal9000 skin falls under the Peacekeeper model. It’s one of 4 legendary variants of the peacekeeper with Pathfinder’s signature smiley face displayed on the side of it. However if you take a closer look at the handle, you will notice two long binary codes engraved along the side.
The binary coding is as follows:
If you translate the Binary to text it spell out: KILL PATHFINDER
Convert binary to text
Although the finding is nothing groundbreaking, we do know that Respawn paid close attention to the smallest details. Maybe more codes will be found on new items or locations around the map. If Respawn did it once, they can do it again.
If ever you discover some binary coding in Apex Legends and want to translate it to text, just use this online tool to convert it here. Take your binary code and type it in with no spaces. For the non tech savvy players, binary codes will always be a 0 (zero) or 1 (one). Each letter is 8 characters long. For example APEX would be = 01000001 01110000 01100101 01111000 .
Let’s hope Respawn has some cool easter eggs set for Apex Legends as Season 1 quickly approaches. If ever you discover any binary codes in the game, you now know how to translate them.
