Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has one of the best stories out there. The game was murdered by negative reviews when it was first released. There was no singleplayer campaign, for example, which didn’t settle for many fans. At the time, the market was dominated by Counter-Strike, and on top of it, the game was not cheap. However, Ubisoft explained that they are looking out for this game in the long term. This was a very unexpected announcement considering the first reviews. However, as time passed by year after year here we are. Rainbow Six Siege is entering Year 4 Season 2 with Operation Phantom Sight.
Operation Phantom Sight Release Date and Features
Rainbow Six Siege Operation Phantom Sight release date is most likely on June 11, 2019. Starting from this season, Ubisoft announced that Test Server’s will take around 3 weeks which was 2 weeks previously. This is a welcome change considering there are some bugs and glitches that need fixing asap. Let us take a look at some of the features coming up with Operation Phantom Sight.

Operation Phantom Sight Features
Operation Phantom Sight is bringing 2 new operators Nook and Warden. Nook is a Danish Attack Operator while Warden is American Tom Selleck looking, defender. Nook can be unseen to defender cameras which makes her the ultimate round finisher as well as a rusher. Warden is, on the other hand, is much more situational. His gadget allows him to see through smokes when activated and not get flashed. However, the gadget duration is pretty short and to see through the smoke he needs to stay still.
There are several cosmetic changes coming also, for example, defender cameras will have blue tinted light compared to the red before. Also, we are getting the Kafe Dostoyevsky rework. Ubisoft will not be making any new maps this year. This season is Kafe rework and we have Theme Park and Kanal reworks scheduled for the upcoming seasons.
