Sega Corporate Office Collectibles Saved by a Janitor

Sega Corporate Office Collectibles Saved by a Janitor

This past week has been filled with Rare Sega Corporate Office Collectibles, and it’s partly due to the fact that a former Sega employee is emptying out his closet and moving on. But this is good news for Sega fans! Once a dominant force in the 90’s, Sega ceases to be a major player in the video game world.

I highly doubt that Sega would ever come out with a new console because of the high costs (R&D, resources, materials, etc…). But that would be pretty funny if they were secretly creating a revolutionary system 🙂

Janitor Who Worked At Sega’s Corporate Office

Not to get off topic now,  there’s some more unique Sega items up on eBay by the same seller who use to work for Sega. I love these type of sellers because there’s always an interesting story behind the item they are selling. It’s like that Duke Nukem original artwork poster I listed a while back where there was an extensive amount of info from the auction. Anyways, above you see five rare Sega collectibles from the head quarters of Sega US.

The auctions are for a Sonic Show Award, Sonic & Tails Santa Painting #1,  sonic & Tails Painting #2, Sega of America Sports frame signed, and Original Art work for Virtua Racing on the Sega Genesis:

Sonic Show Award – This award  was given to the PR Director of Sega of America from 1993 due to Sonic’s major success of airing it’s new Saturday morning cartoon. She ended up shooting this out in the garbage…

Sonic & Tails Santa Painting #1 – Email the seller to find out more about this piece

Sega of America Sports frame signed

Sega Sports Fans This is a framed flyer of the 1995 Roger Graig’s CELEBRITY GOLF JAM Sponsored by Sega of America signed by The 49er himself theirs a photo of him in action on the right lower corner and the whole thing is framed and in perfect condition it came out of Sega’s Marketing Directors office at that time Im not 100% sure but his name was Ted Hoff. it could have been the director before him. I can remember his name off the top of my head but it will come to me & I will update.”

Original Art work for Virtua Racing

This is another original painting from Sega. Its hand painted in water color and matted it dont have a frame but the painting is in perfect condition the artist did date it and I think he or she signed it but its hard to make out because its in pencel and I barely see at the end is a sloppy signature and 1991 Im not sure if it pertains to a sega game but I do know it came from VPs office in the finance department in RedWood City.

**Thanks Jeff!

These auctions are starting at a great price! I highly suggest for you to take a look because you can literally get a piece of Sega history for under $30 which is not bad at all! The paintings are a little more than the rest that’s being featured, but they truly are one of a kind.
