Saturday Supercade Storyboards, Display Collection, Vintage Pac-Man Handhelds

There are a bunch of great vintage collectibles listed today for those of you who are into (or perhaps dedicated to) vintage games. With the arcade craze that followed into the Atari 2600 during the early 80’s, classic arcade titles such as Donkey Kong, Q*bert, Frogger, and others began to spawn all kinds of merchandise and even Saturday morning cartoons.

Donkey Kong to Q*bert Storyboards – This auction is for a set of storyboards that go over the transition from a Donkey Kong episode to a Q*bert episode for the Saturday Supercade show. If the title doesn’t ring a bell, check out this video:

Video Games Stamp and Postcard – “America in the 20th Century” postcard which features a kid playing Atari (damn right). There’s also a video game nod with the stamp attached. Just a cool little pick up for $1.

Halo 4 Grunt Plush PAX 2011 – The seller mentions these were limited to 5000 at PAX 2011 Halo Fest (which makes me wonder how many people missed out after 5000).

Game Displays Collection – A massive store display collection of modern titles. No reserve on this auction and it ends in less than 24 hours.

God of War 3 Poster – This awe inspiring poster was thankfully not restricted to a small print size like is often seen these days with game posters. Nice price too.

The Legend of Zelda Light Sign – The seller Pxfighter has a bunch of these custom crystal light signs but a lot of them are beer signs. This Zelda sign fits the style of lighting far better than most of the other signs for sale.

Vintage Pac-Man Game Watch – From 1983, the manual and cardboard backing are included but the sleeve to complete the box is missing.

The Simpsons Hit & Run Cap – Something for the fans. 1st bid is in but there’s still a bit of time left.

PacMan2 by Entex with Box – I just love the title work on the box of this handheld… “This is the great PacMan2 electronic game by Entex”. Wow, they really believed in their product. I’m surprised it doesn’t say “playable by humans” in small print. It is however a 2 player game which is pretty cool.
