Sega Mystery Box, Nintendo Wide Boy, E.T Meets Atari and More!

What’s better than falling upon a “mystery box” auction, especially when its related to video games? I’m not sure if this listing will stay up as eBay has certain rules when listing. There’s a name associated with the box so that might help is keeping this auction up. I’ve seen other mystery box auctions where’s there’s no mention of anything (ex:name) so the listing gets taken down.

Basically n_mardenis has a Japanese Sega box which mostly likely is some promotional stuff. But, no one knows what it is. If someone were able to translate whatever is written on the bottom I think we might hit a blueseye. But the fact that this box is in excellent shape suggests that this is probably a few years old.

All I know is that whatever it is, the seller certainly has my attention. I will be sure to keep an eye on this and whoever decides to bid on this will have to unveal the contents! Seller says:

“This is a Japanese imported box filled with promo goodies from SEGA. What’s in the box? Who knows, you can only find out by bidding. What I’m offering is legit and you won’t be screwed, but the auction is as is and whatever is in the box is yours and cannot be returned.I can put a second outer box if you want to protect the original box.”

Other Video Game Auctions:

Nintendo Wide Boy – Gameboy Development Unit – Seller says: “Own a piece of Nintendo history! The Wideboy was a piece of hardware available only to developers. It works by plugging into the game port of a Famicom system and you control the game using the Game boy. There are a few different versions utilizing different Nintendo consoles (SNES, N64), however, this is the original version. This one has not been tested, since we do not have a Famicom to try it with. However, it looks to be in pristine condition. Nintendo DS Lite Poster – I know this is not a rare poster, but because it looks so elegant I needed to post it up here. Simple… yet intriguing…
Yoshi and Baby Mario Collectable Resin Statue – The Yoshi & Baby Mario statue will always be popular. The bid is so low right now that perhaps this is a good time to go for this statue. Bid now!
Sonic the Hedgehog Mens Tie – I love posting these Sonic ties, I guess it’s because I keep envisioning myself walking into the office with this tie on but only in my dreams :).
Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Joyride Series 3 – Seller says:”Link comes complete with all parts (carefully removed from packaging) including sword, shield, sheath and base. This auction also includes the “fold out” backing board which includes hints and tips on the game, along with the original Nintendo power offer still attached.”

  1. Well…if it’s some sonic 20th anniversary stuff, it could go for quite a bit, but I doubt it. I know the statue of Sonic with the TV goes anywhere from $800-2,000. Probably junk inside though 🙁
