Signed ZX Spectrum & Turbo Grafx 16 CD Games

With the major gaming conventions of today such as E3 and TGS, older games like Jet Set Willy on the ZX Spectrum and Shape Shifter on the Turbo Grafx 16 CD add-on aren’t really thought of. These games are quite unknown to most people and I’m betting many people reading this are hearing about these games for the first time. Even though I’ve never played either of them, I distinctly remember seeing Shape Shifter being played in a used games store and was amazed with by clarity of the voices (even though the voice acting is very bad lol). Today I would like to show copies of both of these games signed by people who brought them to the world!

The copy of Shape Shifter shown above has been signed by Roman Scharnberg who served as Senior Programmer during the development of the game. This is an obscure game but still has fans out there. If you are one of the few who played and enjoyed this game, you should check out the following auction: Shapeshifter – Turbo Grafx 16 – Signed by Roman Scharnberg

Jet Set Willy is probably better known than Shape Shifter due to it’s age and this fairly rare copy of the game has been signed by the author; Matthew Smith. It was signed in 2004 at the UK Classic Gaming Expo! If this is a must-have for you, I suggest you check out the following auction: Jet Set Willy – ZX Spectrum – Signed By Matthew Smith
