Here’s some late night finds that I’m sure will peak your interests. Some of the auctions are ending soon so check em out before they are done with! First is this Nintendo Power “Insiders” Calendar.
Nintendo Power always comes out with calendar’s, and my favorite ones would be the 1990, 91, and 92 calendar’s because of the artwork, and also because they have all the classic character’s in one place.
But this particular calendar on auction right now is the first calendar that Nintendo Power came out with. It’s the 1988-89 calendar. If you were one of the first subscribers to Nintendo Power back in the day, you would get this sort of “complimentary gift”. Whats also very special about this calendar is that it comes with a cool official note from Nintendo saying:
“Dear Nintendo Power Player,
Here’s your insiders’ Calendar.
Thanks for being one of the first to
subscribe to our new magazine.
Hope you enjoy it. Keep your
scores high and your dates straight.
Your friends at Nintendo”
Just the note alone is a collectors item! The seller says this calendar is in mint condition. The calendar shows upcoming NES titles along with historic dates and facts such as Mario’s Birthday(October 11th), and another neat fact such as King Hippos new diet program beginning on November 29th . Preeettty cool! 2 days @ 17 hours $20.49
