Ninja Breaks Fortnite World Record

Today’s Fortnite scene is a combination of a good game and good marketing. Epic Games were able to capitalize on an opportunity that everyone else seemed to pass on. They took PUBG’s popular game mode Battle Royale rebranded it by putting building mechanics in it and rolled it out to the public. The game was a hit. But streamers also did their part. The most known streamer for Fortnite was and still is Ninja. Ninja is one of the reasons why Fortnite became so popular. Even though Ninja moved to Mixer, he is still a talking point because of his fame and effect on the game.

Some of us may suggest that Ninja’s days were over for the Pro scene. But Ninja and his partner Reverse2k set a new World Record today. They have won 43 consecutive games. This proves that he still a formidable player in today’s Fortnite Pro scene. Ninja promised after the last Fortnite Battle Royale World Cup that he will try to qualify for the next year’s Fortnite World Cup and until now it looks like he’s on the right track. 43 consecutive duo wins is an insane number to reach.

Also, he was streaming every match with Reverse2k. After we have seen Tfue’s bad performance at Fortnite World Cup streamers were generally considered as not top tier players. However, Ninja seems like working for that goal. And this is really important for Fortnite’s future because Ninja is the number one worldwide known superstar that this game offers.  If you want to watch Ninjas stream, you can watch it from Mixer as Ninja transferred therefrom Twitch platform.

Ninja announced the victory from his Twitter page. This world record is also interesting for several reasons first of all Ninja and Reverse2K nearly broke their partnership after Ninja failed to qualify for the Fortnite World Cup Duo Finals. But this seems like they are on the right track again. Also, Ninja showed that he still got it.
