Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is much more than a streamer. You may like him or hate him, but he made headway for streamers all around the world and helped shed major light into the industry. A few years ago, gamers and streamers weren’t considered marketable. However, today this is changing and Ninja is at the forefront of all of it. He is an international celebrity and perhaps in the same category as movie stars and singers. The latest Adidas sponsorship also showed us that even streamers can get endorsed by sports companies. In our current age, streamers are on the rise and this was not the case 10 years ago. Finally, Ninja did one thing that no other streamer ever did. He walked the stage at the New York Fashion Week. Ninja tweeted about his achievement:
To walk a stage during New York fashion week is just another incredible achievement for me, so blessed and happy to support the New York Redbulls and represent for my RedBull family. pic.twitter.com/rAOQL5rlGE

New York Fashion Week
The New York Fashion Week is one of the most prestigious events of high fashion. Fashion companies such as Dior, Armani, Lagerfeld, etc feature their collections there. Of course, next to those high brands, we have other shows and Ninja was featured in the MLS 25th Anniversary jersey show. RedBull is both Ninja’s sponsor and they also sponsor the MLS. If you can remember a while back we saw that Ninja’s game room was designed by Redbull. Ninja looked very interesting in the show where he was wearing back and red jersey on top of a tracksuit. It was not one of the most fashionable things, however, seeing a gamer there reminds us how much this industry has improved.
Ninja tweeted about it and he called it one of his biggest achievements and thanked the RedBull family. After Ninja’s transfer to Mixer, some claimed that he will never be a top streamer again. Yes, maybe his viewer counts have dropped, but on the other hand, Ninja was already an international persona so he did not get affected that much. Also, a huge billboard dedicated to RedBull at Heralds Square showed Ninja in his jersey.
