- Like most FPS games out there, Valorant has a technique that players can use it to their advantage. Bunyyhopping is present in the game and here is how to do it.
Valorant is coming soon. The Closed Beta for the game is already live and generally, players are impressed with the game. Of course, there is still a long time for the actual release of the game, but the results are positive. It does look like Riot Games is going to push Valorant to the competitive scene as soon as the game launches, the ranking system is already explained. This will be an interesting idea, many games spend some time in order to enter the competitive scene.
However, by the look of it, Valorant will be pushed immediately. Of course like every FPS title, there are techniques that you can use in order to gain an advantage in the game. Bunny hop is one of these techniques and today we will take a look at it.

We do know bunnyhopping from games like Apex Legends. The players use their momentum in order to change their position while jumping, hence the name bunny hop. In Valorant it is even easier to pull off. All you need to do is reach your full speed by pressing W, afterward, you need to start jumping and while pressing A and D keys alternatively. This move will carry your speed momentum to jumps and you can switch locations, instead of jumping forward, which is easier to hit.
However, we advise you not to try this method while you are not at full speed, because, it does not work consistently even if you are a little slow. Here is a short video to show you from the Redditor Jack_Dice.
Bunyyhopping is an advantage to use over your opponents. Players can switch places fast and get to cover or you can make yourself a hard target especially at close quarters. Since the game is only available on PC for now, we do not have a guide for the console players. However, devs left an open door for a possible console release. Riot Games‘ Valorant expected release date is around mid-summer, however, due to Coronavirus pandemic, it might be moved to the end of the summer. Let us hope that it won’t come to that.
