The most played massively multi-player online role playing game has it’s fair share of collectibles. The age of the game prevents these items from having solid value in the video game collectibles market. What I mean is, the buyers tend to be mainly the WoW mega-fans. This causes prices to be all over the place… Sellers may price something high in hopes someone with a lot of cash feels they MUST have the item. It’s a crazy world out there on eBay… here are some highlights:
Arthas Helm 1:4 Scale Replica – I’ve honestly never seen this before. It looks great (as is expected from Blizzard) and it is limited to 4,000. It was only available at Blizzcon in 2008.
Orc Wolf Rider Resin Statue – This statue is actually a scaled down version of the life-size statue that stands outside of Blizzard’s building in Irvine California. It’s a resin statue, but has a great bronze-like color. It’s a great item for anyone who fights for the Horde.
Blizzcon Goodie Bag 2008 – This bag holds all kinds of stuff, but one item in particular is very valuable; an unused redeem code for your very own in-game mini Tyrael!! Tyrael is the angel from the Diablo series who got himself a little caught up in the problems of mortals…
World of Warcraft – Burning Crusade Collector’s Edition (Signed) – For a few years now, the developers of World of Warcraft sign items at the annual Blizzcon event. The number of signatures you get however depends on how patient you are. This auction shows someone had serious patience because I have never seen one of these collector’s editions with this many signatures. Even the art book inside is signed!!
